SUPPORT OUR EFFORTS
Membership in one of the most important ways you can help support the work of the Lemon Bay Conservancy. Approximately 400 members--individuals, families and businesses-- currently help support the Conservancy.

These annual membership contributions make it possible to operate the Conservancy so that we can continue our efforts to protect environmentally sensitive lands through preservation.

It is our hope that you will become a member and work together with the Conservancy to keep it a strong force in the community. Your presence at monthly meetings and volunteering your time and talents are our most important asset in attaining our goals.

As a member you will receive important updates on our activities by e-mail, postcard, and the Newsletter.

Lemon Bay Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, which means your membership contributions are fully tax-deductible as provided by law.

DONATING LAND THROUGH
CONSERVATION EASEMENTS
A conservation easement allows you to retain ownership of your property while ensuring the land will be preserved in perpetuity. This option is usually restricted to large parcels of pristine to mildly disturbed lands. Call us for a consultation on your property to see if it might qualify for an easement and possibly save you tax dollars while protecting the land.

LEMON BAY CONSERVANCY ENDOWMENT FUND
The Conservancy has joined with other responsible not-for-profit organizations by investing core funds in an endowment through the highly respected Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice. The Foundation increases our “purchasing” power by combining dollars from multiple funds that generates access to the most secure, highest return investment products available.
You can donate to the Lemon Bay Conservancy Fund by check or credit card to either the Conservancy or directly through Gulf Coast Community Foundation of Venice. Call us at 941-830-8922 or visit the Foundation website http://www.gulfcoastcf.org. Select > "Donate on-line" on the left hand side bar > click "give by credit card" > select "Lemon Bay Conservancy" on drop down box.
