The Giving Challenge – May 1-2, 2018

April 29, 2018

General

Update:  The 2018 Giving Challenge is now closed.  Thank You to the 100 LBC supporters who donated during the 24-hour challenge!  Combined with the very generous matching dollars from The Patterson Foundation, your contributions raised $14,900 for LBC!  Your support is very much appreciated!

On May 1 and 2, you have a special opportunity to “Be the One” supporting Lemon Bay Conservancy and our important environmental work through the 2018 Giving Challenge.  During the 24-hour challenge period every individual donation to LBC from $25 to $100 will be matched 1:1 by The Patterson Foundation. That means that your donation will have double the impact!

Each unique individual or company can submit a donation for matching.  So, multiple family members can each have your donation matched!  Just be sure that each donation is made using a unique name with a different credit card.

Only online donations made through the Giving Challenge website between noon on May 1st and noon on May 2nd qualify for matching funds.  Please mark your calendar to participate.   The secure website for the challenge is www.givingpartnerchallenge.org.  On that webpage, once the challenge begins, search for Lemon Bay Conservancy and submit your donation.

If you’d like us to give you a call to remind you when the 24-hour window begins, please send us a note at lbconservancy@comcast.net or call us at the LBC office, 941-830-8922, and we’ll setup a reminder!

If you know others who may be willing to help, please invite them to participate as well!

The 2018 Giving Challenge is presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation.
