The 2020 Giving Challenge: April 28-29, noon to noon
On April 28 and 29, you have a wonderful opportunity to double the value of your donations to local non-profits! Over 700 non-profit organizations in Charlotte, Sarasota and Manatee counties are participating in the 2020 Giving Challenge sponsored by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County.
Thanks to the remarkable generosity of The Patterson Foundation, every $25 to $100 gift you make to a participating non-profit during the 24-hour online Giving Challenge will be matched 1-for-1. That means your $25 gift becomes $50, or your $100 gift will become $200! And, that match goes for every participating non-profit to which you donate! So, as an example, you can make gifts to three different non-profits and each one of those gifts will be matched!
While Lemon Bay Conservancy is an eligible organization for the Giving Challenge and we would appreciate your donations, we’d like to take a step back during this very difficult crisis period. We hope that you’ll consider using this opportunity to first donate to non-profits that are providing direct community support during this crisis.

You can also use search options on this page to find participating organizations by category of service provided or by location.
