A 1-hour guided walk along mowed trails through diverse upland habitats and freshwater ponds that connect to brackish Lemon Creek. Visitors can observe native and Florida-friendly plants, vibrant wildflowers, and butterflies in dedicated habitats, while spotting upland and wading birds, insects, reptiles and other wildlife. We discuss ongoing research such as the juvenile Tarpon “net pull”. Highlights often include panoramic views from the Labyrinth on the Hill and insights into ongoing habitat restoration efforts, providing an engaging overview of LBC’s Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve.
