Lemon Bay Conservancy officers Vice President Irene Slattery and Acting President Jim Cooper awarding the Elsie Bracken Scholarship Award to Lemon Bay High School senior, Shannen Smith at the LBHS Awards Night held Monday evening, May 8th. Shannen was recognized for her outstanding work in conservation research at the 2015 S.T.E.M. camp held at Wildflower Preserve that led to an award at the Florida State Science Fair. Shannen will be heading to New York University in August. Congratulations Shannen and job well done!
