The preserve includes upland habitats\, along with freshwater ponds and brackish water wetlands\, that attract a wide variety of birds. \nThe preserve address is 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd\, Englewood 34224. \n\nWhen visiting the Preserve\, closed-toe walking shoes\, a hat\, sunscreen\, and bug spray are suggested.  A water bottle\, camera\, and binoculars are also encouraged. \n\nEveryone is welcome to attend\, please feel free to invite your friends\, neighbors\, and family to come along and enjoy the early morning sights and sounds.

SUMMARY:Rock Painting Workshop
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us for a rock garden painting session. Meet at the kiosk. We will guide participants on a guided nature walk to learn about flowers\, trees and wildlife then we will paint rocks. Paint\, brushes\, mod podge for decoupage\, and several different types of acrylic pens will be provided. A walk to the garden to leave the art will then commence and a visit to the Preserve Labyrinth.  Kids are invited\, provided supervising adults\, are also in attendance.
