SUMMARY:Don Pedro State Park Paddle
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a FREE guided paddle that is open to the public!  LBC Volunteers Lexi Kust and Maier Goldberg will be guiding a paddle from Don Pedro State Park on Placida Rd.  Try to arrive a little before 9 and launch when everyone is in the water together.  There is a bit of a walk to the water from the parking lot\, bring a cart to transport your kayak if possible.  Don’t forget your water\, safety equipment\, and some excitement.  Advance reservations are required!  Please call the LBC office at 941-830-8922 if you intend on participating. \nLexi’s experience:  Lexi grew up boating on fresh water in the Midwest.  She has been kayaking in Southwest Florida for 8 years.  She prefers the quieter waterways of the intracoastal\, creeks and rivers. \nMaier’s experience: Maier spent 5 years in Sebastian\, Florida\, kayaking on Vero Beach\, Sebastian Inlet\, Wabasso and Vero; 1 year in Hobe Sound\, kayaking the southern part of Indian River\, and Loxahatchee River; and 9 years in Naples as a volunteer for Conservancy of Southwest Florida.  He led weekly guides on the Gordon River and has kayaked Wiggins Pass and North Marco Island.
