DESCRIPTION:In honor of Worldwide Labyrinth Day\, VP of Outreach/Education for the Labyrinth Society\, Frank Faine will be leading a guided walk at the Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve “Labyrinth on the Hill” on May 5 from 9:00am-11:00am. 3120 Gasparilla Pines Boulevard\, Englewood FL 34223. \nFrank is the project coordinator for the Rollins College Labyrinth Project\, which has been designated a Legacy Labyrinth\, an effort that works to create a global network of labyrinths dedicated to peace and healing. \nAdditionally\, his work is developing innovative ways to share the labyrinth experience and create a more collaborative model for the World Wide Labyrinth Day annual event. \nAll are welcome to join us as we walk together connecting the global labyrinth community in fresh\, new ways. Please wear comfortable footwear\, a hat\, sunscreen\, and bring a water bottle.

SUMMARY:Rock Garden Workshop at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first rock garden workshop at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve 3321 Gasparilla Pines Boulevard Englewood Fl at 9:00am on May 2\, 2023. We will provide paint\, brushes\, some cocktail napkins\, mod podge for decoupage\, and a couple different types of acrylic pens for group use. Of course\, you are welcome to and may want to bring your personal supplies as well. \nParticipants are encouraged to bring rocks or shells to decorate. River rocks are ideal\, because they take paint well and are easier to draw on. Parchment paper is also good to work on \, so be sure to bring a sheet or two along with you if you wish. We will have paper towels\, garbage bags\, and a few coloring books to use as examples for drawing. \nDecoupage takes a bit of time to dry\, so our workshop instructor Bonnie Stuhlmiller will take these items home to coat with spray. Participants will need to make arrangements for pick up or donation of finished work to be used at the Labyrinth on the Hill rock garden. Everyone is welcome to bring along creative ideas and to participate.
