DESCRIPTION:Anne Bonney will lead a guided tour of the Labyrinth on the Hill at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve meeting at the kiosk area. \nAnne is a founding member of the Pilgrim’s Landing Labyrinth on Cape Cod and is a member of the faculty and Board of Directors of Veriditas\, known widely as the International Organization of the modern Labyrinth movement. \nJoin us for an introspective\, instructional\, inspirational journey through the 7 circuits of the new Labyrinth on the Hill. All are welcome. \nParticipants are invited to journal\, video\, photograph\, and wear protective footwear. \n

SUMMARY:Wildflower 101: Introduction to the Preserve Guided Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join Paul Townsend for his monthly “Wildflower 101” introductory guided walk beginning at 9 am.  During this is a short\, casually-paced walk at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve\, you can expect to see upland and wading birds\, native and Florida friendly plants\, butterflies and other insects\, freshwater and brackish pond water environments\, and the Labyrinth on the Hill.   \nThe preserve address is 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd\, Englewood 34224. \n\nWhen visiting the Preserve\, closed-toe walking shoes\, a hat\, sunscreen\, and bug spray are suggested.  A water bottle\, camera\, and binoculars are also encouraged. \n\nEveryone is welcome to attend\, please feel free to invite your friends\, neighbors\, and family to come along and enjoy the early morning sights and sounds.
