Our Water, Our Future: A Symposium on Coastal Water Quality

Lemon Bay Conservancy invites you to join us for a water quality symposium on Saturday, April 6th, at the Manasota Beach Club, 7660 Manasota Key Rd.
The focus of this event will be on Lemon Bay, our coastal water quality, and how each of us can help improve water quality. The program will run from 10 am to 4 pm and include informative speakers, a workshop on the Charlotte Harbor National Estuary Program’s Water Atlas, and afternoon field trips. A buffet lunch will be provided. The fee is $35.00 (plus tax and tip).
Planned speakers include Steve Suau, civil engineer and developer of the Lemon Bay Watershed Management Plan, John Ryan, Sarasota County Environmental Manager, and representatives from N.E.S.T. (Neighborhood Environmental Stewardship Teams) and S.T.A.R.T. (Solutions To Avoid Red Tide)
Field trip opportunities will include a visit to the Lemon Bay High School Aqua Lab and a tour at Cedar Point Park.
