December “Sneak Peak” Member Walks at the Preserve: Sign-up Now!
We are pleased to announce that a series of LBC members-only “Sneak Peak” walks are being scheduled for December. Walk dates are Tuesdays (Dec. 1, 8, 15, and 22) and Saturdays (Dec. 5, 12, and 19). Advance reservations are required, and participation will be limited to no more than 10 – 15 walkers per guide.
If you’d like to be among the first to see the newly restored preserve, please call the office at 941-830-8922. Our energetic office manager, Mary Birchfield, will get you signed up. If you get a message when you call, please leave a phone number for Mary to return your call.
Safety will be at the forefront for these walks. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver, to wear a face mask throughout the walk, and to maintain social distancing. Your guide will be wearing a mask that he or she may remove while speaking to the group.
If you are not a current LBC member, Mary can take your new membership registration when you speak with her. New members and current LBC members renewing for 2021 will receive a new preserve map and have daily access to the preserve after it reopens in late January.
