Lemon Bay Conservancy was pleased to award graduating senior Keegan Noel the LBC Elsie Bracken Environmental Science Scholarship at the 2026 Lemon Bay High School Senior Scholarship Night. This scholarship recognizes a senior who has demonstrated an interest in conservation and the environment and plans to pursue a degree in environmental science.
Keegan will graduate with honors and plans to attend the University of South Florida, where he will major in Environmental Science.
Throughout high school, Keegan has been actively involved in athletics and related leadership roles. He has coached and served as a referee for state and local youth soccer and completed community service through the Youth Soccer Association during his junior and senior years. He has also participated in several extracurricular activities, including Cross Country, Soccer, Track, and the Environmental Club.
In his spare time, Keegan enjoys fitness, traveling, reading, pickleball, soccer, and hiking.
About the Elsie Bracken Environmental Science Scholarship
Elsie Selden Bracken was a loyal LBC member, and a Boca Grande resident. She was known for her tarpon fishing experience in the “Boca Grande World’s Richest Tournaments” and for the most tarpon caught in the women’s division, catching over 1,000 fish.
