Join Bill Dunson for a guided nature walk at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve, 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd, Englewood on Thursday February 29, 9:00 am-11:00 am. Although the discussion will consider all aspects of nature, the main emphasis will be on recognizing different habitats and communities and considering how they might be restored. LCWP is in a multi-year process of replacing an abandoned golf course with native plant communities, a difficult and long term task. Please remember to bring along your binoculars, water bottle, sunscreen, bug repellent, camera, and hat.
