Join Mike Weisensee and the Venice Area Audubon Society for a short, casually-paced walk at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve on Thursday, November 6 at 8 a.m. The preserve includes upland habitats, along with freshwater ponds and brackish water wetlands, that attract a wide variety of birds.
The preserve address is 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd, Englewood 34224.
When visiting the Preserve, closed-toe walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray are suggested. A water bottle, camera, and binoculars are also encouraged.
