The kayak tour scheduled on November 13, 2023 has been rescheduled for Monday, November 20,2023. The tour was cancelled due to high winds and rough water. The tour will launch from Indian Mound Park in Englewood at 9:30 am. Advanced reservations are required. All LBC tours will be subject to tide and weather conditions. Participants must have their own equipment: kayak or paddle board, paddle, PFD, water, hat and sense of humor. Liability waivers are required. This paddle is the second in our series of guided tours that will include an exploration along the south shore line around Lemon Bay. Examining both the positive and not so positive shore line conditions we observe, the impact on our sea grasses will be an ideal topic for group discussion. This trip will be approximately 2 hours long, depending on weather conditions. Wind and weather conditions will dictate direction and destination for all paddles.
