Lemon Bay Conservancy embarked on a very ambitious project to restore an old golf course. The changes to date in the original vegetation which was present at the time of purchase have been astounding. Dr. BIll Dunson, walk leader, will lead a discussion of the changes implemented and the natural process of plant succession.

When visiting the Preserve, closed-toe walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray are suggested. A water bottle, camera, and binoculars are also encouraged.
