In the interest of safety, Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve remains closed until further notice.
However, we are offering limited access to the Preserve for special guided walks to allow visitors to observe the damage and nature’s efforts to begin a recovery.
Come along to discover some of the many plant and animal species growing in the compact, dense, eco-friendly environment. Wildflower Preserve provides an amazing array of native plants and wildlife in the winter and summer months as well. This walk is accessible for everyone and never fails to deliver rare sights and nature’s delights. These walks will be open for Wildflower members from 8:30 – 10:30 AM. Meet in the Wildflower Preserve parking lot. Bring binoculars if you have them.
If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
NOTE: The Preserve can be “buggy” and warm this time of year. Come prepared for a walk in the woods. Bug spray – sunscreen – and closed-toe shoes are required, along with long pants as there will still be some debris in areas affected by the hurricane. Last but not least, don’t forget your water!
