On Monday, October 9, Lemon Bay Conservancy invites you to join experienced birder Susy d’Hont for a free early morning nature walk to observe some of the many bird species that frequent Wildflower Preserve. Fall migration is underway and you may see some of the “snow birds” that arrive in our area for winter season. Note that the walk begins at 8 am! End time will be approximately 10 am.
Wildflower Preserve is at 3120 Gasparilla Pines Blvd., Englewood, FL 34224. The preserve is located just east of Placida Rd, Route 775, south of Englewood. Dress for a walk in the woods. Binoculars, sun screen, and bug spray are suggested.
