Eco-kayak tours for Lemon Bay Conservancy members and friends will resume in January. Join paddle team members Charlie Woodruff, Jayne Dean and Beth McKinley as they explore the ecology of Lemon Bay and its fascinating shoreline habitats.Tours will depart from the following sites at 9:30 a.m. and will be approximately 2 hours long.
- Jan. 8, 2024 Lemon Bay Park and Environment Center, 570 Bay Park Blvd., Englewood, FL 34223
- Jan. 22, 2024 Indian Mound Park, 210 Winson Ave., Englewood, FL 34223
- Jan. 29, 2024 Oyster Creek Boat Ramp, Placida Rd., Englewood, FL 34224
Participation is limited to LBC members and their accompanying guests. Advance registration by no later than 4p.m. the day prior is required. Email Charlie Woodruff at cgw3@icloud.com
All tours will be subject to tide and weather conditions. Participants must have their own equipment: kayak or paddle board, paddle(s), PFD, water, hat and sense of humor. Liability waivers are required for each tour.
