LEMON CREEK WILDFLOWER PRESERVE IS CLOSED

In the interest of safety, Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve is closed until further notice. Many trees are down blocking trails and there are large areas where metal, styrofoam and other construction debris have blown into preserve uplands and ponds. One of our maintenance sheds is destroyed and our front entry gate is badly damaged.

Volunteers are needed! If you would like to help with debris pickup and removal, volunteers are meeting most mornings at 8:00 AM at the preserve parking area. We welcome all the help we can get.

Also, if you know of any companies or organizations that might be willing to assist with equipment and resources for tree clearing, please give us a call at the office, 941-830-8922.
