LBC members and your accompanying guests are invited to join our March paddle tours!
All paddle tours will take place on Mondays. They will be conducted at a moderate pace and take approximately 2-2.5 hours. Please arrive 30 minutes before launch time to register.
- March 4: 9:30 a.m. Don Pedro State Park, 8450 Placida Road, Placida, FL Explore the mangrove-lined bayside of the island.
- March 18: 9:30 a.m. Oyster Creek Kayak Launch, south of Lemon Bay High School on Placida Road, Englewood, FL 34224. Explore Cedar Point and Rock Creek.
- March 25: 9:30 a.m. Indian Mound Park, 210 Winson Ave., Englewood, FL Explore the mangroves and seagrass areas to the south and west of the launch site.
All participants must provide their own equipment: Kayak, paddleboard or canoe, paddles, life jacket, hat, water, sunscreen, and a sense of humor. Waivers must be signed at check-in. Reservations are a must.
