The latest video installment in our Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve special interest point series is on freshwater wetland plants.
Improving water quality in the wetlands at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve was a major objective of the preserve restoration project completed by LBC, the Southwest Florida Water Management District, and NOAA. Our volunteer team has created a new video discussing the wetland plants that were added as part of this project. We invite you to enjoy the new five-minute video by clicking on this link: Wetland Plants at Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve
You can see other videos in our preserve educational series on the LBC YouTube Channel. A playlist is available at this link: LCWP Special Interest Points Playlist.
Lemon Creek Wildflower Preserve is a beautiful place that we all enjoy having access to. In an ongoing effort to share the Preserve with our members near and far, the Lemon Bay Conservancy Audio Visual Team has several additional videos in this series in the planning and development stages. We also plan to create and place signs, with links to the videos, at the interest points at the preserve. If you would like to help with this project, please contact the LBC office at (941)830-8922.
