“Tarpon Junction” is located on the northern prong of Lemon Creek at Wildflower Preserve. This portion of the creek, with its low oxygen content and connectivity to Lemon Bay, is a nusery for baby Tarpon. The creek is located in Wildflower Preserve. Wildflower Preserve is an abandoned Golf Course located in Grove City, Florida that was purchased by the Lemon Bay Conservancy and, through the dedicated work of volunteers, is being transformed into an educational nature preserve.
